Friendly, attentive waitress. The Clam Chowder was delicious. I got whole Lobster with salad and fingerling potatoes. Everything was very good, even the Salad. The menu boasts several seafood dishes. We had an absolutely amazing dinner at Hobbs Harborside in Wells! From beginning to end, everything was outstanding.

Derek A. was our server and did a fantastic job—friendly, attentive, and made our evening even more enjoyable.

I had the swordfish special served with fingerling potatoes and green beans topped with crab, and it was INCREDIBLE! The swordfish was cooked perfectly, and the crab took the entire dish to another level.

My husband had the Greek salad and said it was hands down the freshest and BEST Greek salad he has ever had in his life—and that is saying something!

Of course, we couldn't leave without dessert. We shared the warm Blueberry Crisp with vanilla ice cream, and I also had the insanely delicious Chocolate Truffle Layer Cake. Both desserts were a solid 10/10 and the perfect ending to an amazing meal.

Between the delicious food, wonderful service from Derek, and beautiful harborside atmosphere, Hobbs Harborside was one of the highlights of our time in Wells. We will absolutely be back the next time we're in Maine. Highly recommend!

We went for dinner so didn't quite get thedjll views that the restaurant offers. I would not have lingered on the view after the food came, the lobster Mac and cheese was perfection. The crab stuffed haddock was better then words can describe. Every part of the dish was a delight and the medley together, was heavenly. Our first visit to Maine and we found this great local spot. Found a table in bar easily at 5:00 on Saturday night but it started getting packed about 1/2 hour after we arrived. We had a great view of the water and docks. Live music was enjoyed on the outdoor patio. Bartender was awesome and prepared a Tiramisu martini for me though he had never made one before. It was simply devine! Shared fried calamari and coconut shrimp appetizers. The calamari was fried to perfection and was so tender it almost melt in your mouth. Coconut shrimp was also wonderful. Hobbs Harborside is the absolute best, hands down no one else compares. The views are amazing and the food is even better! This is the place all the locals go! If you haven’t been you are truly missing out!

It’s truly family friendly and they have something for everyone. I’m not a big seafood guy, they have the best ribs hands down. I don’t know how they do it. Pair their ribs with an Atlantic Blueberry Ale and you’ve got yourself one hell of a meal!

Hobbs Harborside Restaurant was a great place to enjoy a meal while visiting the Maine coast. The food was fresh and well prepared, the service was friendly, and the waterfront setting really added to the experience. It has a relaxed atmosphere that makes it easy to sit back and enjoy a good meal while taking in the harbor views. Definitely recommend Hobbs Harborside if you’re in the area—it’s a great combination of good food, friendly service, and a beautiful Maine waterfront setting.
